School Journal Workbook!

Kia Ora, bananas how are you all today? because I am doing awesome, now a few blog post's ago I did a few ways on how to get to 44 in maths. And someone actually commented and I am really happy about that his name is Alex, thank you so much for commenting. Anyways, today for this blog post is going to be about my School Journal Workbook. Its basically where every week different groups read with the teacher for 45 minutes and then we answer questions about it. Just like the Wonder work just there a 6 questions in total that we have to answer. I've done one so far but there will be more in the future. Here's a picture of the story, The Red Ball

Planting Tuesday!

Kia Ora Everybody how are you all today, welcome back to another blog post. Now as you all know there is a bug going round if your class is getting sick left, and right use hand sanitizer or ask your teacher to buy some. Anyway, yesterday the year 7 and 8 students went to manual and when we came back, we were given a list of people who were going to plant bushes in the garden, it was the hole class but there was still lots of room for planting. Planting was very easy because all you had to do was dig a hole and fill it up with soil. and then you put the plant in and water it then wait for it to grow to perfect size. there were no pictures sadly of the hole thing but i'm sure there will be pictures in the future.
So thats what happened yesterday I will post a blog tomorrow so, BYE!!!

WIG DAY!!!

Kia Ora tamariki, how are you all today? I am back with another blog post. Now people probably wondering
"Why is the title called Wig Day?"
Well today the whole school has had a fun raising to donate money for little children. It was kind of funny walking into school today seeing all the funny wig's around the school.

Don't laugh so today has been average but with wig's, just wanted to tell you about what's happening today tell me if your school  has had a day to give money to children tell me in the comments

Rangiora Borough School

Ki Ora everyone, how are you all today? because I am doing awesome. So today this blog post is about what is gonna happen at the end of the term. So I will by the end of the term I will be moving school out in Rangiora, and the school is called Rangiora Borough School. This might mean that I won't be able to write anymore blogs until I go to high school. Please don't cry or i'll cry! Anyway this was just a quick update about what's gonna be happening in the next two terms but here's a picture of the school.

So that's really all I have to say I don't know if the school does blog post's but if they do than ill try and get you all to see it.

Cycle Safety

Te Ahiahi Pai that means "Good Afternoon" in maori, and and no this isn't a "Learning Maori" blog posts because you should have read the title. I am back with another blog post.

The other day the Year 6 & 7s had Cycle Safety. Some schools might have Cycle Safety come to their school. Anyways I wasn't at school yesterday so I couldn't do the second part of Cycle Safety but we learnt a lot about biking. When you are on the road, if your wanting to turn on to another street, you need to look behind you for any cars or other people on bikes and then you signal what way your going with your arm and then you are able to turn.

Later that day we played a few games like, closing circle the one where you are allowed to go anywhere around the court but not past the people who are making the area smaller and smaller and the last one that doesn't cause a crash or come to sudden halt wins, I one the first game but then I just kept failing, but I was fine because I wanted others to win as well.

Cross Crountry

HELLO EVERYONE!!! How are you all today? I am back for another blog post, and for this post today as you saw by the title I am going to be talking about Cross Country. So last week on friday my school, Yaldhurst Model School had our Cross Country and it was tiring ya boy did great but came last so that really sucked but it wasn't my fault about that because I had to do alsot more running than last year. I did 2 laps around the school field 2 laps around the other area/ Park and then 2 laps around the school field again so in total it was

6 laps
in total. Here are some pictures of the day.

i'll tell you the places other students  came,

Mika came first in year 8 Cross Country

Liam came second in year 8 Cross Country

Jacob thought he came third in Cross Country for year 8 but he forgot to do another lap around the park so he came last.

Mia came first in year 7 Cross Country

Nikita came second in year 7 Cross Country

Dion came third in year 7 Cross Country

Teegan didn't run at all

I came last in year 7 Cross Country

so that was my day.

Hockey

HELLO EVERYONE!!! How are you all today? I am doing fine, tired but fine. So you're probably wondering by the title, why is today's blog going to be about hockey not ice hockey, just hockey. I'll stop saying hockey now

(Just Stop)

So for the past two weeks we have been training for hockey and when I mean 'we' I mean

Dion, Jedi, Julia, Chloe, Brayden, Liam, and Shay we all have been practising by re-learning how to play hockey for this year and today we practised what would happen in the real game by putting ourselves in different positions which was Attack, Defence, and Goalie. I was asked to be in goalie because I am awesome at it. ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

So the other reason why I was in goalie was because my teacher also said I was good at being goalie, witch kinda worries me because I don't want to goalie ever game, so Mrs Taylor if you're reading this don't put me in goalie all the time please. Now normally I would have pictures but I don't so i'll just make my own.

Welcome to Term 2 2019 | Holiday Story [ Not Finished :( ]

HELLO LADIES AND GENTLEMEN!!! How are you all today because I am excited for this term, the week has gone past really fast HA! (rime) Anyway for this blog post I will be telling you guys about what happened in the holidays and I already have it written down because as you saw from the title I have written a story already but I never finished it so that sucks but here's the story anyways.

On the last week of the holidays for Term 1 me my mum my step dad and my cousin went to the top of the south island to camp site in Totaranui, when you fly there it's only a few minutes and when you drive without stopping it takes five hours but since we stopped every time we were in a little town it took us seven hours to get there and we got up at 5:00 and got to the camp at 12:00 ish. When we got to the camp my legs felt dead and it felt like I did the longest nap in the world, so that day when we all jumped out it felt good to move around and smell the fresh air and be out and about. And then we met my step dads parents and I was kinda jealous because the had a hole camper van all to themselves well the probably used it to cook all the amazing food they cook. Soon I went into a big tent with two rooms and when you enter it's just a huge room where you can put all your goods in it. Then me and Tyra had the choice of sharing one of the rooms and my mum and step dad would take the other one, or we could one of us could sleep in the other room and then the other person would take the other so that we would have a room to ourselves and my mum and step dad  would just sleep in the big room so we both decided that we would share a room which was a good idea because it rained most of the time that we were there and the ceiling leaked mostly in the biggest room so my mum and my step dads bed wouldn’t get wet. The next day we were there I didn’t get enough sleep because when I sleeped on the way to the camp I was in an uncomfortable spot and no it wasn’t one of those something was sleeping on top of me and I couldn’t move kind of spots I just meant that I was leaning against the window and my ribs were hurting that night because my ribs were in that angle for so long. Anyway the next day I we were there I woke up and I walked over to the camper the that fine sunny morning and made myself some breakfast I had Nutri Grain and then my Mum told me and Tyra to come to the beach to see the sun rise that was happening. I had never seen a sunrise before and neither had Tyra to be honest Tyra had never gone camping ever.

And that's where I never got to finish but i was close to finishing but there's nothing really to say all I can say is that I walked down the beach and watched the sun set and my mum took some pictures of me and my cousin.

Easter Fun Day\Creating Hats #1

HELLO EVERYONE!!! How are you all today because I am happy and ready for fun even though its raining but that's not going to stop the fun, anyway like 5 or 10 minutes ago I finished off my quick and easy easter hat and here it is.

Yep it looks pretty good but if you look closely then you will see that the little chicks beek has fallen off and the reason for that is because I was shaking it so much that the beak just couldn't handle it. So that was this morning OH!!! I should tell you about how I made the hat.

Ok so how I made the hat was me a my Mum went to the store and bought stuff like headband rabbit ears, a blue hat and the little chicks on the top. and then my Mum cut holes in the hat and put the ears through the holes and today I just cut the edges of the thingy and glue gunned the chicks and stuff on. oh and the spring on the right ear, or on my angle its left, anyway that's the first thing that I fixed so here's the hole thing.

So that's the everything that i've done so far today so i'll see you in #2

The Student Summit O_o

HELLO EVERYONE!!! How are you all today because I am good, now some school's might have heard of the Student Summit and if you don't then i'll explain it all to you today now the Student Summit is a place where you go with your school to South Hornby High School, and since my school is Yaldhurst School I was representing Yaldhurst. There were other school's there two like Hornby Primary, I think Hornby High and one other school that I can't remember the name of, anyway a week ago the teacher asked me and some other class mates to come to the lounge area and we went to our Gmail and saw a link to a website that took us to the Student Summit website where we sort out what we want to do and we all clicked an activity we wanted to do and bla, bla, bla and today we went to the Student Summit and these are the pictures that she took of us all and a video can you see me at the bottom left corner?

THEY WERE STALKING ME!!! OoO

Drawing!!!

HELLO EVERYONE!!! How are you all today because I am doing awesome and today you're probably wondering why the title of the blog post say's Drawing and i'll tell you right away. So last week The School Council/ Mia, and Mika had an idea of everyone colours in a picture and by the way they were all the same picture but we were able to colour it how ever we wanted to do it but the point was that we had to stay silent and only focus on your own work colouring picture, I would show you some pictures but I can't find any so I guess I should tell you what the hole purpose of the hole thing. Ok so the hole purpose was I think it was to make us calm and relaxed instead of just reading a book. So you could say that it was just to change things up a little bit.

Manual 2019

HELLO EVERYONE!!! How are you all today because I am doing great as I say in all my blog posts so it's probably getting really old but I am still going to say it in all my posts anyway. So I am year seven 7 now and that means I've been doing Manual/Technology and schools who do Manual/Technology then you will know what i'm talking about anyway there's a few activities that you can do at manual but the teachers pick for you so that kids don't just pick one thing so I was chosen for Design and I thought it was going to be boring but I've done really fun things like sowing, creating masks and other really cool activities but I only have one day left to finish my mask because I have never finished it but I am almost done so when I've finished it I will do a blog post about it at the end of the whole year anyway there's nothing really left to say and last blog post I said that this one would be longer but this one is more shorter than the other one I think.

The Body :D

HELLO EVERYONE!!! How are you all today I am back for another blog post now have you ever wondered what is inside the human body well your going to learn some things about the body today. And let me give you a few Fun Facts about the human body.

- Muscles help the body move.
- The Veins are connected to the muscle just look at your wrist and in the middle of your arm.
- The digestive system crumbles up all the food into small bits so that the food can fit.

Anyway for the past two weeks my class has been learning about the body and what the are useful for when you are alive, and the body is quite interesting just like like all the facts that I just wrote down that's how interesting it is because I bet you were like
WOUGH!!!
There is not really much to say because I have to get to another blog post and I know it was really short but the next one will be longer so.

Home Learning Blog

HELLO EVERYONE!!! How are you all today because I am doing awesome, now today this is a little bit of a different blog post because as you saw from the title this is a home learning blog post. And today for my first home blog I will be telling you about Math Whizz, witch I will leave the link at the end of this very blog post now ive been using math whizz to learn since I was a year 5 so like 2 years ago or something like that.

Anyway I would have told you all about it last year but I couldn't really be bothered because I was lazy 2 years ago so let me ad a happy face right here →:D
Anyway Math Whizz is a website where you start off with a little assessment where need to answer a bunch of math questions and when you get the answers right you a greeted with three animals on a roller coaster there's a Cat, a Lizard, and a frog.

And every time you get the questions right the roller coaster gets higher and higher and when you get to the top the ride begins, and then they make it to the end of the roller coaster and the screen goes black for a second and you then are in a little cartoon house with a desk and tv screen on top of it. And I know it sounds scary that a tv would be on top of the desk but the tv is turned on and it says Tutor on it, and there's also other thing in the office like some books that say study something I don't know and there's a bunch of other things that you can click on, and when you click on the books you come up with a list of different activities that you can do to like my favorite and easiest one in the hole of math whizz is one where you need to match the shapes to make a full shape.

A Cyborgs Real?

Ok so here's a question are cyborgs real? well ladies and gentleman i'm going to say something that's going to make your mind explode.
YES!!!
It has all been confirmed that cyborgs are real and you're probably like
'Layton how do you know that cyborgs are real and where is the proof?'
Well here's your PROOF!!!

Ok so there's your proof from me, and I know what you are think 'WHAT!' yep it's true 2019 has all the tech now. So i'll tell you everything that this arm has it has Bluetooth, Sensors so that he can move his hand with his mussel, and he could move the hand in different directions. And Mrs Taylor said that the arm was in petwen 80,00 & 85,00 I know crazy right, but there's nothing really eles to say about his arm but ill tell you the story of how he lost his arm, oh by the way the person that you are seeing in these photos is Richard he is Mrs Taylor's husband. Anyway how Richard lost his arm is that when he was 17 he was doing something with a machine that cuts up something, anyway he got his sleeve caught on something and his arm slowly started cutting up so he grew up having no arm. But eventually he got a hook that he had for a little while then 3 weeks ago he got his Robot arm.

Swimming Race's :D

HELLO EVERYONE!!! How are you all today? I am back and I am more happier than ever. So last Friday I competed in our school swimming races. There were so many people there and so many parents, anyway I competed in a length in Year 7 boys' freestyle and I was racing Teegan, and Dion. Dion is faster than me when it comes to swimming and Teegan is faster than me when it comes to running. While we were racing I looked to my right and Dion was there but when I look to my left Teegan wasn't there and that got me really nervous because I thought he had gotten in front already. Dion and I were neck and neck but then Dion got tired and slowed down a bit. Anyway here are some pictures of the races. If I can find any pictures of me racing, then I'll put them on too.

I couldn't find any pictures of me so I just found random pictures and rolled with it. So that's really all that happened and next week I'll post a blog post if I win the Year 7 boys' swimming race or not.

Who Am I? & My Learning Goals

HELLO EVERYONE!!! How are you all today I hope you had a fantastic holiday it has been way to long since I did a blog post so let's get into today's subject. Now this year at school I have started writing my learning goals for this year and I have finished I just need to print it so that I can take it home and stick it on the fridge somewhere. But first I will show you an image of what the learning goals look like and then I can go on to a different subject and then after that we can end this blog post because my finger's are getting tired from tipping so much.
